cattle ?

have a bull that got heat stressed last summer,he lost about 300# treated him,he has been doing good all winter gained almost all the weight back,now he seems healthy but his(poop) is real loose with kind of a dark red color to it,all the other cattle are fine,any ideas what it could be,thanks

Could be coccidiosis but I can't remember if older animals can get it or not, calves can. Take a stool sample to your vet.
