Carl, Pulled the book, says "The serial number is located on the right side of the frame where it bolts to the final drive." Sorry about the wrong information, should have looked at my "A" first. Pete

The serial number should stamped into the top of the right frame rail channel near the rear. If the the frame to trans-axle mounting bracket has been broken, as is common, I have seen reinforcement material and welds covering the serial number.

Carl, The number should have a prefix as listed on this site: example 3A507 or # A 507. Look on left side of this page "serial numbers", Pete

I found number A-507 but listing don't go back far enough I think mine is a 1938 thanks again Carl
