Here in central & n.e. Tx, winter won"t go away.

85 Wednesday, only in the low 50"s Thurs, down to upper 30"s last night.

Was running the ceiling fan Thursday morning, ran the furnace Thursday night.

Weather here has been doing the ping pong act all month.

I"m just a little ways west of you and had 4" of wet-heavy snow..As you can see it took the wheat down..Theres a chance of more snow tonite with a low of 28..

Rain is forecast for 9 of the next 10 days so it looks like no corn will get planted this year..I"m 63 and have never seen weather like this..I think the last snow in May here was in 1907..

James Mc Canney predicted a while back that this weather will last at least until May 5th. So it should start getting better soon.

Here in Grain Valley, the snow is gone. We had maybe 2" of wet snow with some sleet mixed in.
