Prescription anti-inflammatories work fine for my arthritis but they upset my gut, and I've tried a bunch of them to no avail. I went back on 100 mg of Diclophenac a few days ago and my body felt young again but then the side effects hit so I went back off it yesterday. Today I can hardly climb up into the tractor cab. I've gotta put some dual hubs on and then the duals today and I just can't get motivated when the body, especially the knee is stiff and sore.
When planting starts next week, (hopefully), I'm going to have to be active whether I like it or not, but I don't want to take a prescrip med and feel half sick and have to go hide behind the tractor with a paper towel in my hand.
What do you guys and gals use that's non-prescription? In the past I've heard old timers talk about some of the remedies they have used but I wasn't afflicted at the time so it went in one ear and out the other. Now I'm listening better but not moving better. LOL Jim
I forgot to mention, Ibuprofen and Aleve aren't kind to me either. I have a touchy tummy for sure.
