12 inches! I thought our four inches was depressing! The only thing that brightens my day today is Larry's pics with the new camera. Jim

Not trying to rub it in but, suuny warm and 75F here in Ontario Can. My brother is coming for a visit on the week end. He lives in Winepeg Man. and gets about the same as you. I think it will be a shock for him when he gets off the plane. I am going out to disc, and cultivate, getting ready to plant grain. Last year planted end of March, this year first of May.

I can relate. Sick to death of it... and then some!

Got a boatload and still coming down.

Daughter said, "Geez, Mom - this might be the first year the Fourth of July parade gets cancelled due to snow!"

N/W WI here too... just outside Ladysmith. We only had an inch or so when I went to the barn - most of it came as rain last night. About 3" by the time I came in for breakfast, and probably 5" now and falling fast. No school, so Luke is happy!

Well, while North Carolina has at times, some "interesting" weather, we have nothing like that. If anyone wants to relocate, y"all just come on down, I think you should be able to find a place to your likin". We gots mountains, we gots seashore, and we gots sommethin" in between. Of course you will have to learn to speak "Southern" as a second language, but Jeff Foxworthy wrote a dictionary for that. LOL

well after this winter, I might just take you up on the offer,I speak the northern version of ( you might be a redneck),I think I'll fit right in,LOL

We've had over [b:a0e90821c6]26 feet[/b:a0e90821c6] of accumulation so far this winter so another few inches last night and this morning is just par for the course I supposed. Snow in May isn't really all that unusual for UP here though.

Here, I went out and took some pics.

It was green here yesterday.

Have some good sized drifts in some areas. The shop roof let go of its snow load on the north side... my rust-garden received the avalanche.

What's that joke about Wisconsin? 9 months of winter and 3 months of poor sledding? Here in SC today it was about 60, cloudy, and very light rain. Not supposed to get much warmer for a week.
