A sea gull question.

I can remember hundreds of black headed sea gulls following the tractor for many years in swMn. Then you didn't see the black headed ones anymore. Instead we had bigger gulls with a white head. Now this year I am seeing the black headed ones again. Just curious why we didn't see the black heads for several years, unless they are just passing through on their way up north.

That"s funny you say that cause I was plowing a alfalfa field today and low and behold from out of nowhere appears a black headed sea gull.I have never seen one in all my yrs of plowing. We are west of the twin cities in the heart of lake country.I think the ice will be gone by morning the way its looking.
