ford 6000 followed me home

found several ford 6000s,looked at 3 on saturday, 1 jumped on my trailer and followed me home. it even has M&W turbo. few things to do and it can be mated to its partner,ford 602 picker.

there is a guy here somewhere in the mid ohio area who has been trying to sell six or seven of those on craigslist.i think one runs and the rest donot.

Ford supplied vehicles to the show so the 6000 was only natural. Ford also supplied The Andy Griffith Show and one early episode has an N series tractor shown and towards the end Ken Berry has a 5000. Would have been better for jokes if Oliver Douglas had an actual Oliver tractor. It sure would have confused poor Mr Kimble.

My Dad bought one of those new in 1962. We couldn't keep the SOS in it with stock HP. Good Luck!

Nice! I wanted Dad to buy a new red one when they came out when I was a kid. He told me when I was older,I could buy one used for myself. I still haven't.

What's the mater with you, buying an SOS tractor? Don't you know that it won't work and will be impossible to repair? LOL.

His Dad was the best SOS mechanic around and could get what no body else could get to work he would, Dad is retired now as a former Ford Dealer and mechanic. I delt with his dad for years.

Those are good looking tractors in my opinion.I had one,with a turbo, but was to big to goof around with.

if you adjust the nut behind the steering wheel it usually fixes it!!
