Crud in gas tank

I used way too much quick trip gas in my CC Case before I realized that was a bad thing to do. Now I got a bunch of crud that is getting into the carb and stopping it up. Is there anything I can put in the tank to nutrialize that, OR, whats the best way to clean the tank.

I have had very good luck with siphoning the crud out using one of those $2.99 transfer siphons that you get at the hardware store. Of course use common sense safe procedures, work the siphon around until it comes clear. you may be able to reclaim a fair amount of what you siphon out or use it next time you need to light a brush fire.

syphon as much as you can, then drain completely. Take the tank to a radiator shop, have them clean and plastic line your tank. End of problems!

You don't describe a tank deterioration situation. Unless you have a lot of rust in your tank there is no reason to remove it. Just clean with the siphon, end of problems.
