Found these parts in an attic of a house about to be burned down. Don't know what kind of motor or if they even go together. Can anyone identify the make or brand?
I have a crank handle, flywheel, block with stuck piston, and a head with valve rockers. Intake side has a tiny Carb of some sort. Says choke and stop cast in it. I take it the other pipe is the exhaust. I wonder if there is any value here to a collector or just scrap iron?

Yep, Delco.

Cool! I wonder if that is what was in the basement back when this farm house was built? Had a 48 volt setup, was kind of a fancy deal back in the late 1920s, until the REA came in. Rack of batteries on the wall. I never saw it of course, the cement bllock is in one room in the basement and a cemented over hole in the wall where the exhaust went out. Always marveled at the small size of that hole for an exhaust pipe, but would match that....

they are the cyl for a delco light plant. i have one i'm trying to restore. the one you have is different than mine, but i would be interested in the crank. wally

Ok. There are a few out-buildings I want to search through first, in case the rest of the motor can be found.

what you have shown is the cyl for a delco light plant. i don't know what model you have, but most parts are in demand in the club. i have a 1929 model 751 wicth had copper fins around the cyl. to cool. i might be interisted in the crank is price is right. e-mail the club. maybe you can get more info there. wally
