I shot these while delivering some feed Monday morning. The sun was out ans it was a nice day in the morning. Then it clouded up and we got more rain Monday night.

Nice tree covered road. It really looks nice when the leaves are out but it still is attractive now too.

Woods with dead falls laying around. It just caught my eye.

Looks like the windmills are growing over the farm stead. They are actually over a mile behind the farm buildings. Kind of a neat optical allusion.

Some of my cattle. I thought the contours showed up well for not being green yet.

Nice pictures. My kids use to go with me on trips when they were little so they could watch TV in the bunk and would sleep about half the trip.

At 12k per acre for farm lan , how long before the D8 cats and eartmovers start leveling those hills? They do it now in developements at 26 K per acre.

Nice pictures of pretty country, but I have ask you if you've
gotten used to those white monsters in the background,
reason I ask is because they were considering building some
in my area, but for the time being we have kept them out. I
have asked many people where they have the wind generators
and the replies number about 2 to 1 in dislike of the things.

Dukester: So far there are none close to me. These are 30 miles away form me. I will fight them anyway I can. My Sister has them right behind her house in WI. They have ruined her retirement. The house is worth about half of what it should have been and even then there are few buyers that want to live around the noisy things. They do make noise, it is kind of a whooping noise. They also disturb the air and you can Feel them around her place. She got paid nothing.

They are joke anyway. The second the tax breaks are off them they will quit turning. Another funny thing is that when the wind speed gets so high they have to shut them down. So in the peak power they are useless.

Always nice to travel by computer. That's about the only way I will ever see much of the country. There has been talk of windmill farms here in NC, but I don't think there is enough constant wind. (Except, of course around the state capitol!) But there is a solar farm in the early construction stages about 40 miles from me and another in the planning stages.

Thank you for those pic of your area, J D. Sure does remind me of Dub. County when we farmed east of you about 50 + miles. clint
