1997 F-350 transmission

I have a 5 spd manual trans out of a 1997 F-350. It is a ZF trans. It operated and shifted ok before I took it out and scraped the truck. Is there any value for this transmission? And does anyone need one? Located in sw Ohio. Thanks, Mike

salvage yards around here are getting $500 and up to $1200 for a ZF 5 speed tranny depending on the mileage, shouldn't take too long to get it sold.

I've got a '99 F350 diesel 4WD with the 6 speed manual. Love that transmission- basically a 4 speed with an overdrive on the top plus a granny low- great for farm use. Truck is high mileage and I was thinking of replacing it, but I understand the 6 speed is no longer available, so I'm going to make it last for the duration, even if I have to get another engine.

The truck was two wheel drive. It has a flange yoke on the rear of the trans where the drive shaft bolts to the transmission.

No more manual Ford Super Duties. I think 2009 or 2010 was the last year, 6.4 diesel.

Cummins powered Dodge is only 6-speed you can buy new now.

I have that 6 spd. man. in an '06 F 250 4WD. One sweet X/mis.I maintain it is the best X/mis ever put in a domestic P/U truck!
