I put it on - so I know there is a pin thru the PTO shaft. Removed the zerk and the opposite plug. Can see the pin - but it doesn't drive out. Doesn't need a BFH either - it just doesn't move.

What am I doing wrong?

PTO shafts get pushed and pulled and the Roll pin can get bent a bit so you have to use a good punch and a Big hammer. If you can also use a jack etc to help take the bounce factor out that helps also as in have a jack under he ORC to help keep the hammering from bending the PTO shaft

also i have had one of mine where the grease fitting holes would only line up one way, 180 degrees around they were just slightly off, did you check that?

It also helps to have the correct punch. Mayhew pilot punches are the cat's meow.

hate that when that happens../ try turning it opposite ,, my spray pump has the yuppi dumshit ball bearings type that lock in place,, couple times it thought I would never get it lose ,, now I simply grip spin it back with engine off , pto engaged, making shaft stable
