There was a post other day about tractors in same family.First pic is me on our 1962 Ford 2000 when it was about a month old.Second pic is same tractor today.I have the lift cover off renewing the valves inside it.Tach drive broke back around '71 and it showed 4300+ hours.Grass has never grown under this tractor until about 3 years ago when I treated myself to a loader tractor.Been countless people trying to buy this tractor and I will continue to say no till day I die.

Your property your choice, but once you stop using it and it just sits in the shed or a fence row, I hope you do consider selling it so the next generation can enjoy and preserve it, rather than letting it rust into the ground (or... shudder... the scrap man takes it away at your estate sale). Thanks for sharing!

ditto on the scrap man getting it at your estate sale. Some people will look at it the way it looks now and think that scrap is all its good for. Bill

Well,I appreciates yall's opinion but the tractor DOES get used. Can't beat it for shredding due to its low height, and use it for planting rye/winter wheat every fall.IF there comes a day when I'm no longer able to use it,will consider selling.
