been planting some of the garden here in nw alabama
with temperatures in the mid seventies. field peas,
green beans, yellow squash, sweet and hot peppers,
egg plants and some herbs; then helped the wife
clean out flower beds and planted some annuals.
next week tomatoes and okra.

Thought I heard "Winter Storm Wanda", but maybe they were joking. Planted about 25 pounds of taters on Saturday. Now covered in snow.

I know what you mean! We've been grading/ seeding an area where we had sewer lines tapped. Shoveled a truckload of cooked out manure onto a section of the garden yesterday then tilled a neighbor's line so he could plant his grass. That was yesterday; today I was supposed to paint a ceiling and transplant a willow tree away from that sewer line.
Fugget about it! Took it pretty easy today to recoup. It will be there tomorrow.
