Well the drying packets came in the mail and some packets got placed in the gun hard cases. The cases were ordered for $8.00 a piece. Good investment. Both guns are new to us. 1- is a 45 Colt the other is 22LR/22Mag convertable revolver. Hard cases beat the cardboard box (they originally came in) any day, keeps them from getting scarred up, and the packets will keep the moisture back. We had alot of packets left over, so we used the seal a meal sealer and resealed them for later use. We are waiting for dryer weather to bring up the gun safe from the basement (big floor model).This is the end of gun buying for awhile. Regards,

Lou, You will love that 45LC. I have several revolvers in that calibre. I load for them, 255gr semi wad cutter for about 800 fps. A nice gentle load that doesn't break your wrist. Ellis

Ellis,
we also reload for all the handguns and rifles. Definitely like the 45 Colt,as getting older the full charge factory ammo sometimes hurts,and being able to create the right round for accuracy and recoil is really great. As long as it doesn"t fall out of the end of the barrel and you have to pick it up and throw it at the target by hand.lol.The cases are alot easier to keep organized and for keeping the revolvers like new helps.
