Off topic: copper top strikes again

All,

I don't know if waether has anything to do with it, but a polite neighbor kid drops by our home every so often.

So far, it must be a blue moon! This fellow stopped by, but the best we had to offer was some leftover smoked ham from Easter. He sure took to it.

I post infrequently, but twice in so few a days, well, he's probably got spring fever or something.

D.

When he's at you're house you know he's not in trouble!
Don't lose sleep over "turning him into a good person".
He'll just turn out that way, and when he looks back he'll
know it was because of his good influences. i.e. You.
It's a good thing, even if you occasionally have to point
him toward the straight and narrow. He'll get it. :)

No investment in a young person is ever wasted, ever. Seeds
are being sown and those planted by others are being
watered. Kind of like tending a garden. Keep up the good
work. He needs a friend like you. We all did at that age.
Someone besides or in addition to Dad.

I"ve followed your posts from the start..........and have been very impressed about what you do for him.......maybe you just being the friend he needs right now....just like JD Seller impresses us in the same way..........there are still REALLY good people in this world! My only and older brother told me this years ago.....something he picked up in college..."Illigitimus non carborundum". ie,,,,don"t let the baxxards wear you down. You are doing a good thing, being a positive role model. Remember "peer pressure"? always looked at as a negative thing? Well, what about "positive" peer pressure? Why can"t kids be impressed with that? I think that many are, but just not recognized for the good stuff they do.
