Tractor lifts a heavy load no problem. The problem comes when lowering it. The lift arms stay up and wont come down. With a light load the lift arms go up and down with no problem,, they won't lower with a heavy load,,,, Thanks

Sounds like the piston is cocking in the lift cylinder and hanging up.Could be worn piston,or worn bore or both.

I thought that was the nature of the beast. My brother has my Dad's up there, tried to use his 6 foot rotary cutter on it and it won't go down unless you shut it off and let it sit til it settles on its own. My 5 foot is lighter and that one works OK on it.
