I guess its been a while since I've been through Kansas, I didn't remember that many trees. Although I've never spent that much time there, I just drove through it on the big road. I did work for a company though for 35 years that was based in Kansas City. Kansas. Your pictures look like they could have been taken here in Mi. Thanks for posting them.

I flew over central and western Kansas in a little Piper Warrior a couple of years ago and I was surprised at how many trees I saw below me. When I harvested out there I was always in the treeless plains. Jim

Erik,
WOW! Those calves are really nice! They sure look happy in their new bedding. I want to do the same thing, haul manure. A little too wet here yet in Southern Minnesota. Thanks for the great pics. Great looking cattle.

Wonder if that will get billonthefarm off his duff to post pictures?

PS: Just kiddin Bill

One of the things i really hated about spring was the mud and other assorted things(hahaha) in the lots. But seeing those new calves always made it worth the trouble.

its funny how there is always at least one cow that will find the new pile of whatever, and decide to give it whatfor, as if she is going to level it back down in one go. my holsteins are the same way.

Erik KS farmer,

Great pics! Thanks for posting.

Kind of makes me wish we still had a few critters around here... but then again, we have no chores to do in winter. Never thought the day would come... but we are getting old AND lazy. :)
