just wondering what a 49 cub would be worth it is in decent shape not a super shinny paint job but has been repainted i have a chance to get this for 1000 to 1500 has some plows with it and i know it runs

Cubs are great little tractors for cultivating on small farms.
I've had one for about 12 years.
They're a common tractor though, not really any "rare" value.
The lo-boy version is a little less common.
Lots of collectors like them because they're small and easy to transport.
Location and condition, especially tires, would determine the price.
When you say plows, are you talking about moldboard plows or cultivators?
The cultivators sell around here for about $300 in usable shape, not great
shape, so $1000 wouldn't be out of line if you can use it.
I see you're in Florida, I'm in Michigan.
I'm sure prices are different for folks in different parts of the country.

I recently purchased a 62 low boy with a loader and 3 implements for $1,300. It had not run in a few years but the tires were good. I spent a few hundred getting it running. it is a great little tractor.

If it came with a belly mower and had hydraulics, may-be $1500. No mower and no hydraulics it"s not worth half that, unless you just want to look at it.
A friend bought a 49 cub for $800 with 5 implements, no belly mower. He thought he was going to make out big on the deal. Took him a year to find a buyer. Don"t think he made a large profit.
I think there aren"t that many people wanting an old small tractor anymore. Besides what can you do with a one bottom plow?
