March 1938 Sheffield Farms Company will pay $1.96 per hundred pounds for milk testing 3.5% butter fat.That exceeds the Feb price by 8 cents. Also, For Sale 113 acres near State road 19 acres woods fine set of buildings electricity, spring water plenty of fruit,22 head of stock, team, tractor with equipment, milker all tools. Price complete-$8500.
March 1963 Dairy farmers delivering milk to pool handlers in the NY-NJ milkshed will be paid a uniform price of $4.15 per hundred weight. January price was $4.28 per hundredweight.
C+U telephone anounces Direct Distant Dialing effective Mar 30, This is a do it yourself method of making a long distance call.
Jan 2013 milk is $19.43 per hundred weight.

I'm surpirised they were paying based on a 3.5% test in 1938. I sold to Carnation til they closed here in 1975,I can't remember if they ever did go to a 3.5 test or not. For most of the years,if not all,they paid based on a 4.0% test.
