Glad you got it together. No small job.
I woke up sick this morning. Son limped home from work in Lansing Saturday morning. Decided his catalytic converter was plugged. Got on the phone, ordered one up. $450 for the right one - $169 for the one size fits all. Arrived at about 1:30pm. Worked on it all afternoon in unheated garage - crawling underneath. Didn"t fit worth a darn. Two trips back to parts place for adapters, more clamps. Up over $200 now. Sawsall paid for itself again. Had to cut and fit about every part. At least we got a nice looking install. Initial road test says it was the problem. Watching him on the computer right now as he heads back to Lansing - he has a tracking device that allows me almost real time tracking on a map. (google amateur radio APRS). He"s getting highway speeds.
I came in showered till I used all the hot water, still cold. Had supper, did chores,
crawled into heated bed. Finally warm, while watching the news. Still feel like cra__. If I don"t feel a whole lot better in the morning, I ain"t going to volunteer for substitute teaching.
He"s running 73mph on the freeway right now. Think we got it solved. Funny how that problem came on all of a sudden.
