Gotta have a sense of humor to get through life sometimes. I would like her to atleast go back to part time like she did after our 1st born, but her work is short staffed right now and they've got her doing OT. It makes her checks a little better, but still hardly worth it.
On top of that she's doing some online classes for medical coding so she can get a better paying job, and potentially one day work from home. I give her a lot of credit for all she does, and all I can do is try to help her out.
She did admit she was a little bummed that she wasn't getting a new one, because come hel or high water I was gonna make sure she had a working one tomorrow for work. Her mom bought her a hand operated one (imagine a 70 something year old woman buying a pump...) so she could still do what she had to do, but it takes much longer only doing 1 side at a time....
The pump she has she picked up used for $60. A brand new one now comes with a whole bunch more "stuff" and runs $285, so if I were to buy a used one I surely wouldn't have paid $150 they were asking. Just glad I didn't have to go 3 towns over for that tonight in the snow- the other people on the road were aggrivating enough just for me to get where I was going...
