I know this is a tractor site, but figured most guys watch football, and Was wondering with all the trading going on, who you guys are thinking will be good this year, I think the 49ers are looking good, and my favorite team the atlanta falcons are looking good also, hope they can win somemore playoff games this year, and Steven Jackson will be good, to bad his career has been with a bad team all these year this year he should be very good, and tony Gonzalez back again is good also, wish they wouldn"t of cut John Abraham either but guess he"s getting old.

I was a die hard Cowboy fan for years until Jerry Jones came along and fired Tom Landry the way he did. Now a NO Saints fan. Cowboys aren"t going anywhere with Tony Romo and Jerry.

I'm still liking my Seahawks, especially if they can get another referee strike to help 'em thru the first few games of the season. ;o)

I'm not against them, but they sure got me worried about that playoff game against my falcons, there defense choked and I thought they were gonna blow it, the Seahawks should be good again, Percy harvin will be good even though I think they overpayed for him.

I watch college to, like the longhorns, and kinda gotta cheer for my state the hawkeyes, but like watching the pros more.

Ever hear of Pat Tillman? List of players killed during war times in link. Others that come to mind are Roger Starbauch who was a Navel Academy graduate and served in Viet Nam. Chad Hennings flew A-10 Thunderbolts during Desert Storm. These are just a couple of former Cowboy players that served their country. I'm sure there are a lot more of them.
Football players killed inaction

Looks to me that other than the Ravens, the rich got richer: Niners, Seahawks, and Broncos all seem to have made some nice move that will mix well with their already VERY good teams.
Looks like the Browns are finally moving in the right direction (my poor Father has been suffering with them for years, finally has some optimism!)
As far as my Cowboys; Since Jerry isn"t gonna step aside and let football people run things, someone needs to make him aware if the importance of the Offensive line, he has never understood that. Back in the 90"s when the "Big 4" were there, they had a better offensive line sitting on their bench than most teams had starting...when a starter went down it was a seamless transition, then Jerry started making these ridiculous attention getting moves, the worse being trading away alot of those backup O line guys to get that @#$%& Dieon Sanders: yes Dieon could do half of his job (pass coverage) better than anyone else, but part of being a Cornerback is run support, and Dieon would go out of his way to avaoid a collision with Helen Keller if he saw her running at him with the ball! Ever since then we grab every head case receiver and other miscreant in the league (I still cringe daily knowing that T.O. and Ochocinco are still unsigned and Jerry has his checkbook with him! I think he looks at the O line as a very minor issue!

That is Sooooo true.
The first thing ALL pro-sports players should learn is ethics, decency, morality and to keep their yaps shut.
I really cant watch sports anymore due to the high and mighty crap out of these bozos.

Thank you.
They're a bunch of silly games that have done their share of gutting the foundations of this once great nation - family, community, the arts, etc.

Yeah he turned down a multi million dollar contract to serve with his brother for our country and died.

Buffalo's Bob Kalsu left the league after a year to finish up his army commitment (around 1969) and died over in Vietnam in 1970.
I don't know where the Bills are heading but starting over with new coaches most likely means being out of the playoffs. It's unbearable on their message board with the rampant hysteria. They should find more things to do like restoring tractors!

I agree with you on football.I guess it depends who can come up with the more tattooed gang bangers on their team. These guys are great role models!

Seahawks made an already good team a lot better with off-season acquisitions. Looking forward to the upcoming season. Russell Wilson appears to be the real thing, and his ability to scramble and pick up yards adds a whole new dimension to the game- somebody has to play soft pass defense in order to keep Russell from running, and he has uncanny ability to find the open man while running for his life.

Seahawks... As long as we can keep Russel Wilson healthy. It looks great when he takes off for a 20 yard scramble, but I worry that he is going to get himself hurt like RG3.

I have no use for College football, it"s just amateur football to me.

Go HAWKS!
