Loren,

From your pictures it looks like the weather has put the brakes on your sap flow up there.Saw my friend with the local operation while he was pumping a tank and he said he has had a pretty good season so far with 42,000 gallons of sap collected and 680 gallons of syrup made.No big runs this year.He plans on running another 7 to 10 days then shutting for the season.

We haven't turned a wheel since last Monday. The weather watchers in Albany, NY. 50 miles east, have been quoting temps in the 40's but not here.

42,000 gallons??!!!!!! Holy Cow thats a lot of sap. How many trees does it take to get that much?
I've never been around that industry, so know very little about it.
