Concrete floor re-finish

Reading the post below about the dusty concrete floor got me thinking. Poured my shop floor and it didn't turn out the best. I like the finish, just a hair rougher than shiny, no slipping. The problem is I have a few low spots that drive me nuts. I have floor drains but we didn't get the slope to them the way I would like. Is there something I could use to fill in some of the low spots? Also, how about grinding some of the high spots down with a masonry wheel? I did a little of the masonry wheel but don't really like the look, guess I could seal it of paint it. Any ideas?

brother had a carport that was real rough, had a company come in and pour a cap on it about 2 inches thick useing pea gravel in the mix, came out great and has lasted more then 8 years so far....

Take a 1/4" masonary drill and drill a few holes in the low spots. You won't notice the holes, but they will allow any moisture to run into the gravel base. Used to do that all the time in basement floors.
