JB Weld and Magnets..??

Has anyone noticed that JB Weld is sort-or Magnetic..??
I was securing some magnets and see that the JB Weld is attracted to them..at least before it sets.

If it is, should it not be used around electrical sources..??
How would it effect the operation of these magnets.?
They must be magnetically separated, but close..side-by-side..about 1/4" apart..

Thanks.
Ron..

If the adhesive you are using is magnetic it will lessen the magnetic field around the magnet.

When I use JB Weld to fill a crack in metal, I place a magnet on the backside when possible, then heat the JB Weld with a hair dryer and it gets real fluid and flows into the crack much better. It also cures much faster after it is heated.

I used it to restick the magneto magnets back to the flywheel on my Techumse and Kohler.
they both are still working fine.
