Cross loader valve questions. With pics.

We have a cross loader valve on our now 20 year old Great Bend loader. It has the joystick single lever handle. The joystick has worn out and the pivot ball keeps popping out of the bottom. I have recently rebuilt the joystick but it does not work perfectly. My questions are:
How do you identify an old valve like that? Does anybody know if they are stamped with model #"s? Where at?
I see tisco sells kits for joysticks on cross valves but I don"t know if it fits this older valve. Have the dimensions changed?
If anybody sees a reason this new handle would not work let me know. Thanks...

I have a similar valve on a Bush Hog loader and was told that it was no longer made. I have a single handle valve on a New Holland and it has the same type of linkage as the one you pictired. You may want to got to there website and check it out.Later tody I can see if this valve has any numbers on it if you would like. It came off a loader that is used on a TC 29 tractor
 
Well let,s see if we can sort this out.. First about some years ago bush hog purchased Great Bend loaders then bushhog had some money problems and kinda ditched most of the loader program to some guys from India. Parts for Great Bend have been about impossible and Bush Hog not much better. That is for the loader parts but you art in luck the kit you have found will fit your valve, or at least I am pretty sure it will , at worst you may have to make the mount holes a little larger. Some of the early valves used metric bolt for mounting and now they are ase. Surplus Center also sells the kit and unless you are a dealer they will be a little cheaper. Good luck with your problem.
