It Looked Dry Enough....

Went out to do my annual burn last weekend to clean things up a bit around the food plots. The ground looked dry enough. Next time I'll get out and walk it before I drive on it. Just to keep the tractor theme, the last picture is what we used to get me out. Tires actually have decent rubber on them. Just doesn't look like it when they get filled with mud. Was in Oblong, Illinois....

Well, sure is nice to see that I'm not the only one that gets into trouble LOL.At least you had the right color tractor . Hang in there, it will dry up enough before you know it.

I did the same exact thing a couple of years ago. I had the trailer and tractor hooked to the back. Suburban sunk, but not the trailer. Unloaded the tractor and pulled everything out backwards.

I didnt have the camera with me to snap pix.

What, no Tow Truck In A Box?!? You don't need not stinkin' tractor, just 1.5 feet of steel plates laid out on the ground!

Wow... Was just thinking about posting my 'situation'... I did the exact same thing this past weekend. Thought it was dry enough. Now I've got two tractors stuck. And I only have two tractors... And it rained again today. Maybe I'll be able to drive one (or both - fingers crossed) out after the ground dries up a bit.... I just have to be careful not to bury them too deep or I'm going to end up digging at least one of them out by hand (actually shovel)...
