Something to think about:
We all know that gravel roads are the night mare to tires. Why is it the tire that all ways goes flat from a nail or some else’s is on the left rear not the left front or on the front tires. I find that kinds odd; One would think one of the
Front tires would go flat first, wouldn’t you think. This is strange.

Jr. I was always told that the front flipped it up and the back caught it, especially on tandum axles

Yep,we used to find some of the darndest things in the rear axle tires of the milk truck. Everything from screws to a screwdriver!

My wife got an unfired 30.06 round pointed end up in a rear tire not too long ago. It was awfully beat up, but she got home with it. The tire was ruined.

This is what I have always thought about tires---where does all the rubber that is worn off all the tires go??? I know it is worn off over a period of several thousand miles, but with as many tires that go round and round over a stretch of highway over a period of time, looks like the rubber would accumulate. Just a thought-----

75% of the time, driving on gravel roads the tire to go flat is the passenger rear. This is a proven fact.
