I suppose it doesn"t really count as lawn equipment, but this is my 1960 Lone Star pulled by my LX188. It"s been in the shed for several years, but this spring I"m going to clean it up and go fishin" out on Lake Raystown.

OK, my contribution in the event someone didn't see it last year. My re-paint of my MTD / TSC Huskee rider. Rust was getting bad on the floor boards, so last July I turned it into a wannabe Ford. I call it the Fordskee, and yes I'm still mowing with it. Used it yesterday, and I really think it runs better now than it ever did. Must be the paint.

My son on my homemade garden tractor around 1964.
In later years, he spent a lot of time driving it.
6 HP Wisconsin Engine, '38 Chevy tranny, '47 Plymouth rear, '49 Ford steering box, Allis Chalmers B steering wheel and a McCormick-Deering (I think) seat.
The muffler is made from a Bernz-O-Matic tank. I built a one-row cultivator, snow plow and rigged up a garden plow. It had a 3-PH for the plow and cultivator.
There just wasn't quite enuf room to fit a lawn mower under the belly.
Engine is long gone but I still have the tractor.

A new mower and my old mower, exmark is on its 3rd Crap command engine at 3400 hrs ;( Old Jd 112 has the same 10hp Tecumseh since 1968! LOL

These ads are from the 1950's era.

There's some great pictures to look at. I especially like the garden tractors that are and those that look home-made.

I've got a couple crappy pics of my little Ford.
1974 GT125, all original stuff as far as I can tell.

Sears used to sell the Hoffco brush cutter, just put a Sears sticker on it. powered by a Power Products 2 cycle engine. Good units, but quite heavy. I think I still have a couple around here somewhere, but the engines are bad.

we had it,but we can do it again ,feature night is the creation of everyone on t talk,Im just trying to keep it going, seems to help cabin fever among us all

I don't post all that often her, and when I do it's generally in the Garden Tractor forum down below.

But since it's pics of GTs I guess I'll toss in a few of my Bolens. I have a couple of rare ones.

1978 Bolens G11. Sometimes referred to as "The Rainbow Bolens" because of the distinctive decals.

1984 or 1985 (information is hard to come by) Bolens HDT1000. Basically a Bolens HT23 with a Mitsibushi 3-cyl water cooled engine. This was supposed to be for export only. All of the decals on the dash are in 4 languages.
14722.jpg

1971 Bolens 1886 Forklift. This was owned & used by a dealer for 30+ years. They took a new 1886 out of the crate, assembled it and added the power steering option, then shipped it to Bowling Green, OH to have the forklift attachment installed.

1971 1256 Hydro with a rare PTO powered dethatcher on the front and an E-Z Vac system on the other end.

Some of my other tractors with attachments
