I am still at home today. I was planning to go to work today even had another trackhoe delivered to the job as the floor of the bank is thicker than we anticipated. My parents called last night and told Me I had to stay home. That's right 56 years old and my Parents are still telling me what to do. So I'm still home. I am also glad to still have Mom and Dad around. Pretty sure they still love me.

It takes time Ron.
Then when you are able to work you'll be coughin up the nastiest flem ever.

PS-Parent's never stop caring.

Ron,

Listen to them and take it easy. Pneumonia truly is some nasty stuff. You don't want to end up in the hospital...or worse.

My dad is 85, still tells me what to do, wish mom was still alive, enjoy the input, they want you well

Sorry you aren"t 100%. Get better soon.

My 83 yr old mother still thinks I"m growing. She will buy clothes that are 2 sizes too big and expect me to "grow into them".

Feel your pain, RBnSC, as I've had sinusitis-bronchitis-asthma to almost pneumonia for the last 4 weeks. This crappy central Illinois winter isn't helping anyone stay or get healthy,

Have you been to doctor? There are several drugs which can help.

TAKE CARE & GET WELL - -we need to meet and try one of Kruser's horseshoes...!!

For several years now I have been swimming laps most days, during winter. Since doing so, for me colds have been almost non existent, because I think, of the deep breathing it forces me to do. Likely many on here would not find it convenient to swim so often but some kind of exercise to get the beneficial breathing should be available to most. Google: "deep breathing benefits".

You are right on exercise and deep breathing, I noticed similar results a few years ago when I started walking

Ron, don't take any chances with pneumonia. Lady at church got a case of it, docs wanted her to stay home even after she was feeling ok because the antibiotics they gave her had lowered her resistance to more germs. For a while she couldn't have visitors because of the danger of catching something from other people. There are some bad germs floating around here in SC this winter.
