great looking soil. disc my last week, waiting on dry again and a little warmer temps. hopefully later part of week for taters and onions. i'm in nw alabama and wife says i'm too early.

Here in Iowa there is about a foot of snow on the ground and the frost is as hard as concrete!

It has been in the 70's here in southeast Texas for a couple of weeks now. Planted my onions in November. Yes MB58 that is fertilyzer sprinkled in the row before putting the potatoes down.Been doing it that way for years.

I got my potatoes & cabbage in week before last, and planted carrotts, radishes, spinach, lettuce and green peas this week-end. I"ve got black clay and it sure was working good, already got a shower on it this morning. If the grasshoppers don"t get to them again this year, I might have a chance of garden. They ate everything last year. I tried all kinds of sprays and repellants, nothing seemed to work.
