Neat, good looking outfit . I enjoyed the oversized loads . even more then the Dump trailer running over the road and that was a whole bunch better then coal hauling . When you pulled a RGN they were waiting for you to load or unload anything that required a crane or a forklift or they were there by the time you had the rags put away. And if it was mobile 95% of the time i loaded and unloaded . If it was BIG ya had and escort and Cops with ya so how could ya go wrong , nobody really bother ya . BUT when ya pulled a Dump trailer ya might as well paint a BUlleye on it as they screwed with ya even when empty if ya had the rag on . You do not know how many times i was stopped for overload when i was EMPTY . I have runlowboys , dump flat (hated that) aircans , boxes and tanker .Never pulled a refer , Step decks and the RGN . The one i was pulling was a Fontane (SP) it had a flip that i could pin on when needed but for the most part i left it at home as it was in the way and i did not need to have the extra dead weight . As i could scale 70,000 payload on five with a standard overweight permit .

Thanks Vet,that trailer in the pictures is a fixed 3 axle, actually belongs to another one of our companys drivers.Mine is a TK80 Trail King with a flip third.Been hauling heavy equipment with my own rig since the early 70's.Wouldn't know to pull anything else!Have always owned Internationals. Semi retired now, just do local work around Baltimore. Finally getting used to sleeping in my own bed after all those years on the road, lol.

That was 17' wide, right at 13'6 legal height.75k gross weight. The trick part was coming through that 25' wide door at a 45% angle.Only way to get in and out.
