hi got an ih 684 wit da lift arms stuck up and da hydraulics constant pumping! tried the usual things like checkin da valves etc but problem still der any ideas???

The draft control sensor is probably jumped out of place. See the archives for how to do it (IIRC) it is through the top link mounting plate access hole. It involves getting a follower back on the correct side of a long cam like arm. Jim

Hi Bluedog,
Two things to check from Bernard le mencano for 3 pt will not go down:

There is a cover in the right side, in front of the rock-shaft. Remove and check if the spool valve moves with the position lever. Make sure the draft lever is down. It has a long spring, with a rod, maybe the spring is unhooked.

Hi, maybe the unload valve is stuck. Check with engine running, raise the hitch and at the same time pull the remote hydraulic lever. If the hitch raises, you have dirt in the unload valve. This valve is under the seat and you remove the large plug for access. One trick, loosen the large plug, unload valve, 2 turns and start the engine, the hitch should raise if the valve is stuck. It has a small hole in the valve and just blow the dirt out with air. Replace with new O rings.

Hope this helps
