Storm missed us

Kearney Mo area, got about 1/2 inch of snow on the ground. 2-4 predicted, but the roads are slicker than snot. The snow was mostly melting on the roads as it hit then the temps dropped in the afternoon and everything froze. Multi car wreck on I35 and a guy lost his life. Heck of a way for his family to end 2012 and start the new year.

Ya pretty much missed me also got around 2 inches during the day yesterday and then just a dusting last night and very cold. I stayed home knowing all the nut cases and crazies would be out

had an elluva fight w/my 17 year old dottir about why she had to stay home. She kept promisin bout how careful she would be - tried to xplain it is far more than just her being careful. but at least she is safe enuff to complain bout her over-protective parents that won't let her grow up.

I have a friend who I can get to take some pictures of why you would not let her go out. This friend is a Parametric and I bet he was on call last night and I can almost bet he had some bad ones last night
