The Government making logical, rational and informed decisions???? When did that start happening? Not in my life time!
MF, sense when did the farmer make food more expensive? When the farmers band together and we demand a certain price for our product then we will influence the end cost. The only way we make any difference is if we over produce as a group or have massive failures resulting in shortages. Everyone I know sells 1. when they have to (need money, out of storage or no storage ECT) or 2. when they think the market has peaked or 3. when thier contract demands they deliver.
Some of you guys should leave the ridicule at home. Some of us can see through the smoke screen and know when you ridicule it's because you have run out of decent arguements and hope that by ridiculing they will go away.
As far as taking it just cause it's there.....guy once said "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country". If more people whould follow that our government would save billions.
