Alot more durable, and won"t do as much damage to lawns and such as ag tires, but they will fill up with snow and you"ll think ya have your turf rubber on...chains, chains, chains

Do the backhoe tires work any better than turfers on snow?

I personally don't consider either a particularly good choice for traction.

Looks like it's got loader brackets on it...

You might better have spent the money on chains, you'r going to need them with those R4s for sure. The R4s will work better during the summer for loader work, but will tear up your lawn if you mow with the tractor. I have Ag tires on the front of my Kubota and and did wonders for it when diging and loading dirt and gravel. Made no diff what so ever when on blacktop driveway trying to move snow.
