Last I heard there is a Federal and state tax on gas and diesel for on road use which finances the road system and most highways in the US are state maintained anyway.
Not excepting Farm Welfare makes me a REAL Farmer
not a Ward of the State.

| next time you get sick from food that wasn't inspected (because you didn't want any gov. money in ag)let us know so we can laugh at you, you still haven't told us about your "traditional farm", I think I have one of those "traditional farms" too, I raise many of the same things my dad did,corn, soybeans, oats (no flax anymore though) I make hay off my waterways and hay fields to feed the cows. I guess after thinking about it except for some newer machinery and some new technology, many things are similar to what they were when I grew up so I guess I am a traditional farmer also!
