If Burger King didn"t take the 50 cents when they are allowed to it would be pretty stupid on there part wouldn"t it.So take the handouts like the rest of us and stop complaining. If you don"t want the handouts thats fine but don"t give the guys heck for taking something that they are allowed. Do I think we should be getting a direct payment at this time? NO If they offer it I may as well though. Gary |

| I guess you get Food Stamps too? How about housing assistance? No I don't want a Gov't handout to make a living. My opinion is if I can't make it farming, plumbing, mechanic etc its not up to the taxpayers to support me I need to find something I can make a living at. The attitude "Get what You can from the Gov't" is why we're almost 17 Trillion in debt and going farther in the hole every year. |

| | In the 80's I was told by my accountant that I qualified for free meals at school for my 4 daughters. I did not take it. I commend you for making it through the 80's without the handouts. If it weren't for the handouts in the 80's many more would have been done farming than what there were. I was 30 years old had 4 kids and trying to hang on. Had to take the money. To be ready for another run like the 80's you have to stay with the programs or you could lose out big time. Where were you through the 80's? Again I will say not to take something offered to you when can is a bit foolish. I have to farm and work to get my handouts. The ones on welfare and food stamps can do nothing and still get them. I also pay more in income tax every year than the handouts I recieve. You do know the the food stamps and school lunch program is over 80% of the money doled out in the farm bill. Gary |

| I'd say the Gov't with their "Fence row to fence row" nonsense was the cause of most of the problems in the 80's suckers took the bait and got trapped.Do you really think Gov't involvement in farming has really helped helped farmers overall thru the years? I don't think so and the reason I say so is the farmers in my area that have come and gone usually thru bankruptcy were the ones big into the Gov't loans and programs the ones that have been able to hang on in tough times and do really well in good times have been those that have no association or very little with the Gov't.At any rate its a Moot Point as the lawyers say as the $$$$ from the Gov't will run out in the not too distant future one way or the other. |

| Gary, Thats the thinking I have. Theres alot of money going to people that don't need it. I don't get much but it helps pay a bill or two recirculating through the economy. |

| It would have been much better for that money to have stayed with the productive person that originally earned it and not for the Gov't to have confiscated it from them, then taken about 50% and then given the rest to you because you were to lazy or inept to make your own money. |
