Farmall Super C - FH Seat Support

I have a Super C with a Fast Hitch. The seat support for a FH has a hole in the upper front of the box. What is that hole used for? I have been told that it was a place to put a manual crank, but that appears cumbersome as the crank will stick out and in the way. Any feedback will be appreciated.

On our 200, the crank fits aongside the box with the offset handle between box and gearshift pedistal. There"s a clip to kod it dowm in that position. Sure the super C is similar.

I can t think what hole you mean(and it is cold and dark outside)but I am thinking it s for a grease gun to stick out.

Crank fastened to some clips on the seat supportlaid flat on top of tranny cover. Just worked on one this summer still had the clips.
