What do you lube your lift arm with?

I just broke my lift arm and I'm about to head to town to get a new one. I've been dabbing a little axle grease on the ball joint and was wondering if that was the best thing to use?

Are you talking about the long arm or the short arm?

lift arm balls should be left dry.

Ford back with the 9N said do not lube the ball joints. If I would do anything on the balls or pins it would be just a spray type lube as WD 40 or something simular that dries away and not leave a flim.

I know everyone is having fun, but I have never in 35 years needed to lube a lift arm on a 3pt hitch.

The other lift arm gets lubricated by many 12oz motions daily.

Spray-on Graphite would not hurt anything....

Goes on wet, dries and stays ..
