Temp drop of 25* +

Guys, The Temp has dropped 25* + degrees in the last hour. Was 59/60* @ 1:45 now at 2:45 we are @ 34* and sliding down with wind high out of the NW about 20 mph. My Flag looks like it is pasted flat to the sky! Thought Y'all would like to know.

Don't know what the temp was earlier, but in n.e. Tx, its now 31 and snowing hard. Snow is sticking and travel is already hazardous.

Like my dad always said (he was from Indiana) - there's nothing more dangerous than a Texan on ice.

Got a good fire going in the fire place, lots of wood brought in, so we're done until this stuff melts off.

Walt : I went from Chadron on up to Hot Springs and spent the night. Some where around the state line Hwy 385 on the west side of the road were several old IH trucks. Have wished for three years now that I would have stopped and check them out. Do you ever make that drive? Wher are you located. Guess I am just going to have to make another northern swing. Several miles from Tennessee out there. Started raining here at 5pm supposed to change to snow in the night. E-mail open
