Char-Lynn hydraulic unit

I have one of these Char-Lynn hydraulic units attached to my international M tractor. It is being driven by the pto and looks like someone made a bracket to mount it.
I have seen a few threads here with people asking for manuals etc. I don't think anyone found any.
The unit I have is currently using the single acting connection to raise the front end loader on the M tractor.
Recently I tried to use the double acting ports. Of course the actuator rod casting was stripped.
I fixed that but found that the actuator valve was either seized up internally or possibly disabled ???
Does anyone know how the internals in these things work ? Is he valve inside seized up ? How do you disassemble these things ?
Any help would be appreciated.

Those are good units ive had one on a B for 40 pluss yrs. If you want to take it apart you will need to remove it from the tractor drain the unit. The only two bolts you see remove them and the two halves will come off then you can see wyh the two-way end control wont work. They had an o-ring for each half to seal when putting together but you can use the Black gasket sealer. You mite contac Char-Lynn they probably still have them. I got a manual from them 20yr ago and do have it on CD.

does the manual show a exploded view of the unit ?
If it shows how to to repair the unit I want a cop of it.
Just about anyone with a CD writer drive could copy it.

I can copy it for you.

Thanks

Boy I sure would like to get some information on the guts of these pumps.
I really like to know what I'm getting into before I tear into things.
