Had a neighbor at put a 345 v8 Ih gas motor out of a truck into an M. Said it bolted right in. When he was done it looked like it was factory. |

| This was in the late 70s and the guy that did it said all he had to make was the front motor mount. Of course that don't mean he was telling the truth, but it had all the original tin work on it including hood, grill fan shrouds and gas tank. Looked like it came from the factory only with 2 mufflers on the sides sort of like the 1468's have. He pulled it at the county fairs for many years, never did well, but looked great. |
