Didn't know that Warren Buffet's (Wizard of Omaha) son farmed in central Illinois and several other states.

HIS foundation is working on improving the living standards for many.

PS: Big John Deere tractor in the article

Howard looks just as happy as if he had good sense.

Warren is leaving most of his zillions to charity- but am assuming he will leave a couple billion to Howard, so he, like the old Norwegian who won the lottery, can continue to farm until the money runs out.

Everybody has something that they would do differently if they could go back in time. I would buy Berkshire Hathaway (Buffet's outfit) stock at $19 in 1965, which is now at $131,000 per share. Those cattle I had which were worth about 4 grand at the time, would now translate into about $27.5 million bucks.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda.

Howard was featured in a "60 Minutes" segment a year or so ago. He is a solid citizen, not the stereotypical aimless wastrel heir. He is hands-on with the farming thing; runs his own equipment. It's probably more fun when you don't have to.

Yeah.
I had a chance to go see Elvis in late '76.
She really wanted me to go and had already bought the tickets.
But I like a fool, declined.
Washed up old hag he was by then.
But in hindsight;
Well, you get the picture...

Warren and his son Howie were not on speaking terms for many years. Now that Warren understands "mortality" on closer terms, and having some problems with a hand picked successor, it looks like Warren is turning inward and picking his, for many years, estranged son as at least a figure head successor.
