To reclock alternator you have to pull the stator out of the drive end housing. Its press fit and you maybe able to get it out with some careful heat and tapping. Myself Ive only replaced one stator in one and it had a broken front housing so I just cut the housing and it lifted right out, then to go back into the new housing I froze the stator and heated the new housing and carefully tapped it in. If it were mine I"d either just buy a new alternator or extend the wires on the plug and battery cable to get them to fit. hth jstpa
