The Agco Allis would be the better of the two you listed. It is over priced at $39,000 unless it is real low houred. Here is a link to one in southern WI that has MFWD, Cab, loader, with 4000 hours and is pretty clean looking and it is priced at $31,500. http://www.tractorhouse.com/listingsdetail/detail.aspx?OHID=6811667 The LS tractor would be a gamble for future parts and dealers. They have a history of funny financial dealings and name changes. Plus the off the lot deprecation would be huge for buying it new. It could easily only be worth 60% of the new price in a year even if you can find a buyer for it. Here is a JD 6615 cab, MFWD, loader, 115 hours power,3692 hrs., asking price $46,500. This model is just a simpler version of the main line 6000 and 7000 series. I sold 10-12 of them new and never had any issues. http://www.tractorhouse.com/listingsdetail/detail.aspx?OHID=7210165 I would keep looking myself. I am not a big fan of the Agco-Allis line up as they are real clumsy to run for me. I also think you can spend your money better on a more mainline tractor than the LS one. |

| | The Agco has about 2810 hours. I have not seen it yet, recent trade in. Will be on lot Friday 11-23-12. I might not want it, but time is important. I need to offset some taxes because I sold 80 acres in Nebraska at $6500 per acre. I understand not needed to buy this year but would be better. DOUG |
