What do you pay for 24 beer

It's $15-20 for a case of 12oz big name beer. Better stuff maybe another $10.

Homebrew usually costs less depending on ingredients (if you don't count your time) - I kind of enjoy making it but the taste will spoil you for what's sold in cans.

Carling Black Label 15 pack for $12 something plus deposits... so 13 bucks. Molson's are over a buck apiece here too... but they don't inspire me to work... they put me to sleep... Labatt Ice is a wonderful way to treat colds and the flu... they are over a buck and a half here too.

Here in southern Indiana, they have been selling (may have gone up, maybe a promotion) whats called "The Dirty Thirty" i.e. a 30 pack of Hamms for $9.79. At that price a body just cant cant afford to drink soda or bottled water Wooooooo Hooooooooo. I buy whatever is on sale for "company" but keep MGD or Killians or Amber Bock or maybe Red Stripe or St Pauli Girl etc hidden for yours truly lol

When I buy beer I usually buy Coors, around $18.00 for 24 in glass(I don't like cans) or Schell's made in New Ulm Mn for a $1.00 a bottle. Schell's has re-usable/recappable bottles so to me there worth 50 cents each if you had to buy them. I'm a home brewer and give a lot away etc. so always looking for that re-useable bottle. Lot of home brewing video's on U-Tube and almost all are from Canada, they say beer is very expensive there. I'm not a huge drinker, but making beer and wine is fun!!

Never tasted the stuff I'm 62,smelled some a time or two when I was yonng and thought it smelled like it had done been drank and pi$$ out a time or two'figure I saved enough to buy a new Dodge 3500 by 03 which I did

It appears that being sober saves you a lot of money.
Holy crap, $36.50 for beer............Wow.

Anyone here try the Big Flats Lager that they sell at Walgreens? $2.99 a six pack. It"s not too bad. The Big Flats Light that they sell is undrinkable though....

$34.16 for Harpoon India Pale Ale in NH. Although I've never seen it in more than a six pack.

Harpoon does brew some nice ones, its almost $20/ 12 pack now. I've been to the Windsor Vt brewery several times, have a friend up there in NH not far from it, we get growlers fresh from the brewery when he comes through. I've met and conversed with a one of the co-founders/partners its a great company, that makes an enjoyable product. The prices of their inputs has risen, end price to consumer has to rise, but people will always pay for a quality beer they love to drink, craft brewing is doing quite well because of it. The philosophy is a sound one for me, while I used to and occasionally still like to go out for one, I don't miss the crowds, drunks, belligerence, and stupidity, what I love is a tasty craft brew, and I'll indulge in 1 to 3 of them in most cases, the norm is one and that is satisfactory, hot summer weather employs a little bigger thirst, as does a social occasion, I don't like intoxication, I love the taste. I'll spend my $$$ what I like and enjoy it at home say 1 with a meal as a staple which is the average norm for me or a few with friends. Tonight it will be Harpoon Chocolate Stout in a frosty mug, desert in a glass LOL !!!! Great to see another Harpoon fan on YT, Cheers !!!!

Price on that has gone up, used to be well worth it with the 5 gallon home brew, but even so, its very satisfying to still do it even if its not a bargain or the bargain it once was. Right now theres a batch of applejack wine in a bucket tucked away in my wood shed, smells awesome, might be ready say around the superbowl.

rack of 20 1/2 liter bottles of beer will run from 4 to 16 euro.. My favorite is 6 euro and my favorite weizen (wheat beer) is 7.50...... The diehard soldiers will pay 18 +/- bucks for budweisser in the shopette and about the same for the rest of the American stuff....

Cost me nothing because I can't stand the taste of it. Have tried it several times in my 66 years. Wife drinks it once in a while when we go out for pizza.

Coors and miller products in cans 12-13.99 glass which I buy looking at 17-19 but only buy a case on sale which is normally a can price northern Illinois

They will pay that for the plastic push processed chemical
enhanced beer. And they won"t drink real beer ,brewed
according to the Bavarian Purity Standards?

I bought a 18 pack of bush light pounders today before going to the garage and seeing thus topic.. Got no work done on any deers and still trying to figure out the price

I don't pay anything for it. The last beer I had was in Winnipeg in the fall of '84. It made me so sick I laid in the motel for 2-1/2 days until I could drive back to Fargo.

Just a musing -- I was in Panama a few years ago (business trip) and I saw they had beer, by the can, for 24 cents a piece. So it'd be $6 for 24 of 'em... Unless of course it was even cheaper in bulk!

I remember, in 1978, paying $2.99 for a case(24 glass bottles) of Pfieffer beer.
Anyone ever hear of this beer?

personaly i do get tired of the same beer all thbe time ,i like bud , pbribbon, used to be ablee to bet sterling cheap..that salty flavor was perfect after a hayday .... HAMMS beer 24 cans are just a little over 10 bucks at rite -aid.../ and its real good beer ,,milwaukess best ice , 30 cans for around 13.50 ,,bud is about 18 bux ,, and to me it just aint worth that ,, the drug sdtores here in southerb in , beat the prices of any cutrate liqour store

Tried to find hamms when I was in the States 2 years ago and settled for busch.... In Korea 1986 hamms was 2 bucks a case and busch was 3 in the PX...

16.99-18.99 for Miller Lite. I usually buy Genessee Cream Ale for 85 cents for a 24 ounce. The price of beer is forcing me to quit.

By the way Bruce shouldn"t you have typed your question as a two four? Everyone I know in Canada laughs when we Michiganders call it a case or a 24.

Boy do I miss working in Canada, Cuban Cigars while I am there and Absinthe at the duty free.

What oz/mils are the bottles.? Do you get Fosters 24 pack stubbies? and at what price? Prices here are around $39.99 x24 x375 mil.Dearer for imported.Which are 333ml. [US$1=AUD 1.03c]

about $16.99 for busch light cans (30). Ithink a dollar more for bud light cans (24). $.50 more for bottles over cans in a 12 pck. About 2 dollars difference btween a 12 pack of busch light and bud light bottles. $8.99 versus 10.99
