Update on TD18

I had a shaft built at a machine shop and installed it yesterday, things seem to be running true

Nice setup. I'm guessing you are going to finish the mechanicals before you repaint..:)

It looks like fine machining. I think that the Ujoint is going to be a mechanical fuse. Meaning that it might just be too small to allow the torque of that 6 cyl to be tamed. Jim

am thinking the same thing, gonna try it tho. If that dont work I have to get a different kind of coupling, there isnt much room
 
Scroll down on this page. the second item is what I would do. It would bolt on as your yoke adapter is now. Since all the holes are concentric, it should be fibne and dandy. Jim
