MDS quik tach for JD 148 loader?

I have a JD 148 loader on my 4020 with pin on bucket and hay spear. I need to convert to a quick tach system. Searching on the net, I have found the MDS Sur Lock and Jessee Machine works hitches. It appears that both will work with my old bucket and hay spear.
Anyone have any recomentations?

Bought my Sur-Lock in the 80s. It"s improved since then- better latch handle. First one was hard to work with and got bent easily. Over-center cam is a better idea. I made my own version and it works well. Sur-Lock comes in 3 pieces, ships easier and bolts together. When mounted, skip the bolts and weld the center tube to the side frames. Tilt cyl work together better.

I have sold and used both companies. I think the newer version of the MDS is a better than the Jesse Machine one. It is just a little shorter and does not move the bucket/spear out quite as mush. Plus the top ear is wider on the MDS one an that makes it just a little stronger.

Either one is a big improvement over what you have. Price both and decide how hard you are going to be using it. I know the MDS will take beating and still work.
